All of our Physicians practices are closed at this time.

No, not all physicians in the clinic use same day bookings in their practices. For those physicians who do use same day booking as part of their practice this is what it means: each day that these physicians work in the clinic, there will be some appointments that have been pre-booked for patients, and there will be some appointments that are Held Open until that morning (this means you have to phone each morning your family physician is working to book a same day booking.) You may still pre-book with your family practitioner, but it may be a 2-3 week wait.
With the exception of a Physician taking new patients, all other Physicians in the clinic have closed practices. Due to the high volume of patients for these physicians they only have enough appointments available to see their own patients.
Our Doctors schedules are made up only one month at a time, with the new schedule going in around the 15th of each month, provided there are no complications with their hospital commitments.
Yes, our clinic is a teaching site for the UBC Family Practice Residency program. We almost always have on site residents who are in their final year of training before becoming fully licensed family doctors. Patients who are unable to be seen by their own family doctor can choose to be seen by our Family Practice Resident.
Yes, we have recently implemented a no show/short cancellation policy. If a patient does not give 24 hours notice of cancellation or no shows they MAY be charged up to $50.00 (this is left up to the Doctors discretion).
